Board Members

Michael Albert (Board Member) - Michael has been active in a variety of national and local leadership positions within LEAGUE at AT&T and the LEAGUE Foundation for nearly two decades. Michael volunteers for a variety of LBGT and other organizations, including full marriage equality. Currently Michael is the Bay Area Chapter Co-President for LEAGUE at AT&T in addition to his position on the LEAGUE Foundation Board. Michael resides with his husband in San Francisco.

Edward Davis (Vice President / Board Member) - has been actively involved locally and nationally in the LGBT community for over 10 years, serving on this board, as well as holding membership and leadership roles in other LGBT organizations. Edward currently works for AT&T in Minneapolis, MN, working as a Customer Service Representative for AT&T Wholesale customers.

Simone DuBois (Board Member) - has been a left wing liberal since she was 4 or 5 years old, right about the time she had her first crush on a girl. She's been an advocate for girls, women's and lesbian rights belonging to various organizations and sitting on boards such as YWCA. Simone works in Business Sales and owns a home with her girlfriend in Oakland, CA which they share with her Siamese cat.

Charles Eader (Executive Director / Board Member) - has been dedicated to serving the Community and local government for many years through appointments to boards, commissions and as Treasurer to the Multiple Sclerosis Foundation. Charles was President of the LEAGUE Foundation from 2001 to 2007 when he assumed the role of Executive Director. Currently Charles works in Product Management for AT&T and resides with his partner, Jonathan, in Bedminster, NJ.

Jaan Henry (Board Member) - has supported LEAGUE Foundation for many years. Additionally, Jaan is owner of Jaan Henry & Co. Realtors and runs the Crossroads Real Estate Referral network, which pairs GLBTI home buyers and sellers with GLBTI affirming REALTORS nationwide. Jaan resides in Montclair, NJ.

Ron Kirk (Board Member) - served as a Board Member and Treasurer for the LEAGUE Foundation for the past ten years. He is the Budget Manager for YAI/National Institute for People with Disabilities in New York, a non-profit agency serving people with developmental and learning disabilities. He resides in Perth Amboy, NJ.

John Klenert (President / Founder / Board Member) - retired from AT&T after 25 years of service primarily serving federal government telecommunications needs. He is a former national president of LEAGUE, the LGBT AT&T employee organization. Since his retirement, John has served on several local and national Boards of Directors including GLAAD, the Gay and Lesbian Victory Fund, One In Ten / Reel Affirmations and DC Vote. He lives in Washington DC and summers in Rehoboth Beach, DE.

Mindy Morgan (Secretary / Board Member) - volunteers for several Community organizations. Currently Mindy works as the Human Resource Manager for a non profit organization and lives in Phoenix, AZ.

Laura Pople (Board Member) - is President of the New Jersey Lesbian and Gay Coalition (NJLGC) and was instrumental in the fight for marriage equality in NJ and the passage of the civil union bill.

Jacqueline Phillips (Board Member) - has been a member of the League Foundation board for two years and is dedicated to helping pave the way for future GLBT leaders. Currently Jacqueline works as a Business Analyst for NCR Corporation in the Atlanta, GA offices and also serves as Global Co-Chairperson of League@NCR, the GLBT business resource group within her workplace.

Joel Stango (Founding Board Member) - participates in various organizations around the state of Delaware including the steering committee and secretary for Delaware Liberty Fund, Corporate Campaign Committee with Easter Seals of Delaware and President of Midtown Brandywine Neighbors Association. As an account executive, Joel supports a large client in AT&T's Wholesale Business Service.

Katherine Tegen (Treasurer / Board Member) - has been recently elected Treasurer in 2007. She is a former local chapter Treasurer of LEAGUE North Jersey, the LGBT AT&T employee organization. Currently Katherine works in Domestic Wholesale Sales for AT&T. She resides with her partner, Laura, in Bedminster, NJ, and enjoys a second home in Rehoboth Beach, DE.

Shelly Wilkerson (Board Member) - is a Child Welfare mediator living in Utah. Shelly has been active with LEAGUE Foundation and other community organizations for many years.
