Gianella is heading to the University of California - Merced where she will be joining the women's volleyball team and majoring in Communications with focus in Media Production. This scholarship will support her dream to play collegiate volleyball. After college, Gianella plans to join the film industry, eventually making movies that highlight underrepresented groups such as the LGBTQ+ community.
